UAH 2 Mio for the Medic Award from the Zhebrivsky Family Charitable Foundation

On July 27, on the Day of St. Panteleimon and the Day of the Medical Worker, the health professionals awarding ceremony “Order of Saint Panteleimon” took place. The Zhebrivsky Family Charitable Foundation donated UAH 2 million to support the initiative.

The Order of Saint Panteleimon is the highest public award for professionalism and mercy, which is awarded for noble activity in health care. The first awarding ceremony took place in 2017.

This year, 48 civilian healthcare professionals and combat medics from 24 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv city, as well as 9 foreign nationals were awarded. 

The best professionals and medics were chosen in the following categories: “For selfless service to the Ukrainian people, courage and tenacity in the fight for the health of Ukrainians, for the freedom and independence of Ukraine in the war with the russian aggressor” for civilian physicians, “For selfless service to the Ukrainian people, courage and tenacity in the fight for the health of Ukrainians, for the freedom and independence of Ukraine in the war with the russian aggressor” for combat medics, and “For significant contribution to the fight of the Ukrainian people for the freedom and independence” for foreign nationals and organizations.

“Our gratitude to the doctors is boundless. These people conduct hundreds of surgeries, work selflessly despite all difficulties, risk their own lives, saving our Defenders in combat zones. Their professionalism, humanity and courage cannot go unnoticed. They heal and are often the last hope and support in the most difficult moments. This award is a manifestation of our care for those, who care for others every single day,” – Filya Zhebrovska, the founder of the Zhebrivsky Family Charitable Foundation, and Chairwoman of Farmak’s Supervisory Board said.

The Zhebrivsky Family Charitable Foundation has been a partner of the Award for the eighth time. During this period of time, the Foundation donated more than UAH 9 million.
