The Post-War Life camp continues in Vinnytsia. Veterans who lost their sight as a result of injuries caused by mine explosions and missile attacks are enrolled in the camp.

The organizers are National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine, M. I. Pyrogov National Medical University of Vinnytsia, Non-Governmental Community “Modern Vision”.

Eight veterans and seven accompanying persons took part in the May camp.

During two weeks, the participants learned to navigate in space, coordinate movements, use a cane, exercise social household skills (cooking, making payments, etc.), interact with others. In particular, they discussed areas of activity in which the participants can get professional accomplishments.

Trainers who have visual impairments worked with veterans, and they know in practice what skills participants need to adapt faster.

Thanks to the camp, the military men who have lost their sight learn to live a fulfilling life and be completely independent again.

The donation of the Zhebrivsky Family Charitable Foundation to the camp was over UAH 190 thousand.
