The Zhebrovski Family Charitable Foundation and Farmak have once again supported the St. Panteleimon Order, Ukraine’s highest public award in the healthcare sector. This year, the company and the Foundation allocated UAH 3.5 million to support the tenth-anniversary award ceremony.

Farmak and the Zhebrovski Family Charitable Foundation have supported the initiative since its establishment. Over the past ten years, approximately UAH 15.5 million has been allocated to support the award.

The St. Panteleimon Order is Ukraine’s highest public award honoring individuals and organizations for their significant contribution to the development of healthcare, selfless service to society, and saving human lives. Since its establishment, the Order has become a symbol of professional honor, compassion, and dedication to the medical profession.

As part of the anniversary ceremony, awards were presented in categories recognizing outstanding physicians, nurses, military medics, healthcare executives and medical teams, medical innovators, volunteers, civil society representatives, and international partners supporting Ukrainian healthcare. Special awards were also presented for exceptional contributions to the development of healthcare, along with the special “Greatness of Ukraine” category, honoring examples of resilience, professionalism, and humanity amid the full-scale war.

“For ten years, the St. Panteleimon Order has brought together people for whom saving human lives is the highest value. It is a great honor for us to have supported this initiative since its very beginning. Society should know and honor those who help others every day, often putting their own lives at risk,” said Filya Zhebrovska, Chair of the Farmak Supervisory Board and Founder of the Zhebrovski Family Charitable Foundation.

One of the recipients in the special “Greatness of Ukraine” category was the Emergency Medical Service of Zaporizhzhia, which received the award for “The Greatness of Everyday Resilience as a Collective Phenomenon.” Emergency medical teams work every day in frontline communities across Zaporizhzhia region, responding to calls during shelling and rescuing people directly from the rubble. Medical professionals carry out their duties under the constant threat of repeated attacks, including drone and missile strikes.

The “Greatness of Self-Sacrificing Service” award was presented to Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise “Maternity Hospital No. 5” of the Odesa City Council. The healthcare facility was recognized for the courage and professionalism of its team, which ensured the safe evacuation of patients and newborns to a shelter during a Russian attack. After the maternity hospital building was hit, the medical staff rescued all patients and extinguished the fire themselves before emergency responders arrived.
