The Zhebrivskyi Family Foundation has been recognized at the National Charity Ukraine 2025 Competition in the “Charity in Healthcare” category. The award ceremony took place in Kyiv on June 9.

This year, the competition received 1,698 applications, with three winners selected in each of the 27 categories.

For the Foundation, this recognition is particularly significant as it highlights its consistent, long-term contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s healthcare system. Investments in the development of medical institutions, support for healthcare professionals, and implementation of rehabilitation programs remain among the Foundation’s key priorities.

Each year, the Foundation provides assistance to approximately 150 medical institutions across Ukraine. One of its major healthcare initiatives in 2025 was the establishment of a new operating unit within the Department of Microsurgery and Reconstructive Surgery of the Upper Extremity at the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

Supporting the rehabilitation of Ukrainian service members is another important area of the Foundation’s work. In partnership with a private clinic, the Foundation is implementing a rehabilitation program for defenders of Ukraine who were injured in the course of defending the country. Currently, 12 patients receive rehabilitation support each month through this program.

In addition, the Zhebrivskyi Family Foundation is a long-standing partner of the Order of Saint Panteleimon Award, which recognizes outstanding achievements in medicine, science, philanthropy, and public service.

In 2025, the Foundation allocated UAH 35 million to healthcare projects, while its total charitable assistance amounted to UAH 140.6 million.

This is the third time the Zhebrivskyi Family Foundation has been recognized within the National Charity Ukraine Competition. Previously, it received awards in the categories “Charity in Support of Ukraine’s Defense” and “Corporate Philanthropy.”

In addition to healthcare support, the Foundation assists educational institutions, implements projects aimed at preserving and restoring cultural heritage, and has been systematically supporting the Ukrainian military since 2014 by providing medicines, equipment, and other essential supplies to the frontline.

Other winners of the National Charity Ukraine 2025 Competition include Ronald McDonald House Charities Ukraine, First Ukrainian International Bank (PUMB), Crédit Agricole Bank Ukraine, EPAM Ukraine, SoftServe Ukraine, SOS Children’s Villages Ukraine, Ukrgasvydobuvannya, among others.
